Hello all, I have successfully flashed my PCM to remove VATS and still can't get this thing to start. The PCM is out of a 2001 Tahoe and I used an aftermarket harness. I have verified that all wiring is hooked up. I tried the PCM out of my other LS swapped car and no dice, so I am thinking it can't be Efilive. Checked my fuses all is well there. I am not sure what else to look at. When i go Display Data with the Flash Scan 3 it keeps resetting itself and if I move the throttle, I see 0.

Thoughts??

Do you have fuel pressure?
Check all the ground wires?
Can you open the Scan Tool and read DTCs?
Can you Connect to the PCM and use the DVT to command the fuel pump on or Electric fans?

Yes

Yes

I get nothing. Tried the Flashscan tool, an Autozone scanner and my Tech 2.

I do not know what the DVT is. Fuel pump does prime. However, while cranking, I get no spark. Pink wire on the coil connector lights up IGN ON ENG OFF, ground to the coil connector also works.

Upon further digging, I found that I can monitor data on my Tech 2 with my other PCM, not the one I flashed with EFilive. When I went to read the PCM I flashed, it said no data. I assume this means it was never flashed properly. When i flashed it it said it was. I think I am having trouble setting up my Flashscan correctly and/or understanding the relationship between the PC and the Flashscan.

OK, update here. Turns out, CHINA SUCKS!! I bought my harness from ebay and didn't realize it was a Chinese company. So as it sits, I tracked down and verified every wire to the PCM and ended up relocating at least 70% of the wires to their proper locations. I used my PCM out of my 59 Biscayne since it was already flashed by a previous tuner and it fired right up. So now that the wiring seems to be figured out, I will be back on to the Efilive side of things. I'll keep you posted.

Glad you got it figured.
