I read in an old post that Les was saying a certain pin had to be grounded on the ecm to enable high idle on the manual trucks. Does anyone out there know about this?

I read in an old post that Les was saying a certain pin had to be grounded on the ecm to enable high idle on the manual trucks. Does anyone out there know about this?I believe it's the same for the autos... I don't recall the pin, but I know I have a switch wired up to my ECM that enables the PTO high idle that uses the cruise buttons.

For all the autos I do I just use a base file that has high idle enabled. Never had to ground any pins on the ECM.

Correct, on an auto, no pin grounding, just need a base file with the feature enabled.

On a G56 truck, pin 26 (I think) needs grounded. Then a base file with the feature enabled needs flashed in.
