EFI Newb here.
My truck has not been modified or tuned.
So using my Flashscan V3 I read my 2008 LMM ECM (E35B) and captured all of the GM Update Part Numbers loaded to my ECM as well as the CVNs (checksums, right?).
I also used GM's https:// tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web site with my VIN to get a list of all of the updates released by GM for my VIN and the corresponding CVNs.
With two exceptions, it appears I have all of the updates available from GM. However the CVNs don't seem to match up with what I saw from my EFI read. Meaning, on TIS, for a particular part number the CVN shown belongs to a different part number than what EFI reports. In the end, all of the part numbers and CVNs are there, they just are paired differently on TIS than on the EFI report.
Is the a known issue?
Should I be concerned?
Is is safe to use the current file on the ECM as my Base File for making changes?

I've tried to attach a screen grab of the part numbers and how the CVNs are reported for each.

Appreciate any input.
Thank you very much

Just worry about the part numbers. Cvn don't matter. If part numbers match then use what you have.
