This is a nice set of manuals. Even comes with a writeup to ensure you get it installed correctly.

I have this and it is huge. About 4 gig installed and it must be installed. This is what dealers have on a server for techs. I think it has every page of my 3 vol red book set and consider all the cars/trucks it covers!

Yes, I have the 2003 CD version, it covers all North American GM vehicle models from 1996-2003, excellent reference, good wire diagrams and very detailed test procedures, everything is linked and hyperlinked; it is HUGE.

The one he's selling covers 1998-2005 and it's on a single DVD.

I got a 6 CD set off of E-bay for $7. HAs the Helms manuals for the 98-02 Camaros and all of that other stuff.

Just be careful on this, for there are some unspecified issues regarding these items that may lead to unforseen and unplesant consequences, especially for those making this information available.

Nuff said.

I wonder if it has the GM Holden vehicles?

Sorry, just looked and only US offerings, but does have GTO which must be close?

Yeah will/should be pretty close. Especially for Holden Monaro owners.

Okay, I updated Firefox, and now when I go to view the TIF/TIFF images on the GMSPO/SI manual (i.e. click on the magnifier icon), Firefox says that there is no plugin for this, whereas previously I had it configurd to use IrfanView;

I can't seem to be able to configure the newer version Firefox to do the same as the older version (and I neglected to keep a copy of the old...);

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can do this...?

BTW: the TIF/TIFF plugin viewer works just fine under IE.

I have treid but never been able to get consistant results with Firefox. I gave up and use the IE View plugin. Seems you have to start the search in IE.

My alternative in Firefox is to right click and select View Image, which works (but doesn't give me the features of IrfanView (zoom to any level)).

I can run mine completely in Firefox (get Firefox to check if it's the default brower, and tell it to be; then start the SI, comes up in Firefox).
