Need new computer, need help.

My 2003 yukon xl denali needs a new computer. One of the internal 5volt references is no longer sending 5volts.
My question, can I plug in a new computer and install the factory tune or will it need to be bench tuned before installation?

I did a quick search, so if I missed this info, I apologize.
Any help is appreciated.

You can take your current tune, full flash it into your new PCM and be good to go. If your new PCM is Blue/Green connectors.

But can i install the computer and flash through the ob2 port or do I need to do it before it is installed?

Woops. missed that part..

Yea i havent had a issue flashing it like that thru the OBD port.

I've flashed other people's computers by screwing them into my truck and going through the OBDII port. I finally picked up an extra set of connectors to build a bench harness though.
