Known Issues:

Issue #1: Importing JTAG E86B files may result in a Boot Software segment checksum error.
Workaround: None. Don't flash imported files with checksum errors. Don't use the EFILive software to correct checksum errors for the E86B imported files as that does not fix the underlying cause of the checksum error - it just masks the error(s) and causes additional problems.

Issue #2: When logging DMA PIDs (i.e., PIDs whose names end with "_M" or "_DMA"), if the ignition is switched off for an extended period while data logging but data logging is not terminated, then when the ignition is switched on again the data log automatically continues. However, the DMA PIDs may no longer return valid data.
Workaround: EFILive recommends stopping the data log and restarting the data log when switching off the ignition for extended periods.

Found a problem in this and the previous update (only two new ones I tried). In the V8 scan/tune when using the scan tab opening log files, if you have other programs open like chrome or V7.5. Everytime a window pops up in the V8 scan software were you have to click ok/continue ect. It will minimize V8 and switch over to chrome or the program tab, not sure if it's just on my end or what?

Does it minimize before you click [OK] or after you click [OK]?

After clicking ok/continue

Can you post a screen shot prior to clicking OK/Continue?
And then post a screen shot after clicking OK/Continue?

Instructions for how do make screenshots (Windows 8, 10 and 11):

That is very strange. I can't get that to happen on any of our test systems here. We have also not had anyone else report that strange behavior.

I did some searching online and found this, which may help you test/change some settings in Windows to prevent that problem.

Thanks Paul, I will give these try. Sorry to bother with windows created problems, it was something new and only appeared to happen the EFILive stuff.

I tried the above things that didn't appear to change anything, I did find something that helped. If I actualy minimize the other open programs using the top right of the screen instead of just clicking over from tab to tab in the task bar. The V8 software functioned like normal and did not minimize when clicking ok/continue of the windows that pop up. Guess for now I will just keep going with that option, kinda weird.

Based on your feedback/comments, I have now managed to reproduce the same problem you described. I normally don't have the EFILive windows maximized - which is why I was not seeing the same problem.
It appears that if the EFILive Scan window is maximized then the problem can occur.
Try having the EFILive Scan window non-maximized and the problem should not occur.
I will continue to investigate.

Cool thanks Paul!

I may have spoken too soon. Now that I have managed to reproduce the problem, I can't make it go away even by un-maximizing the windows - more investigation is needed.

This problem has been identified and fixed in the next update (V8.3.15) due out later this week.
