Looked through the V8 manual and searched on the forum but could not find examples of user defined V8 Calculated Pids specifically use of the the Lua 5.x scripting language.

You could take a look at the pre-defined calculated PIDs that are included in V8.
Open the scan tool (F2), then use the Config->Calculated PIDs option (or press Ctrl+K), then double click on a calculated PID to see how it is defined.
If/when you can create your own calculated PIDs, there are helpful "snippets" to the right that you can select.

Paul,
Thank you for the thoughtful suggestion. I muscled through it and got it to work. Really liking V8 more and more every day. I wish I would have started investing time in it sooner. I cannot thank you et all for such a wonderful tool.
