CM2350B OS question

I hear that swapping OS systems between the 2350B ECM's is apparently okay as long as transmission selection is correct? Reason I am asking have a 2013 truck but a tuned 2014 file (Same trans) and would like to run. They are different OS's. Is this a trial and error type of thing or can somebody shed some light. Thanks

For a stock engine with all components, you need a stock file for your 2013.

If you have items missing to the point that your truck is offroad use only, you can use the 2014 file on the 2013.
