LS1B ECM with manual transmission (NV4500)

Hi there,

I am working on a a 4.8 liter with an LS1B ECM that came out of an auto that I have hooked up to a manual transmission. Is there a good place to get a base tune to convert this ECM over to a manual transmission tune? It wants to die when I push in the clutch when it is moving, which I feel like might be some issue with the automatic transmission tune.

Have to do a segment swap, just use a Camaro/Firebird or 02 Silverado file as your base file then segment swap the transmission and trans diagnostic segments over from a manual file. You'll need to update gear ratios/speedo/tire size over to match your transmission. You'll also need to know DBC vs DBW, if there are any platform specific things you're looking for, and how your PCM is currently wired as the different platforms have minor differences.

Post your existing file up as well.

Does the transmission have a Speed sensor?

Also, is CPP (clutch pedal position) switch installed and working...?
