Hello:

I am about to do a DOD/AFM delete on an '08 Avalanche with a 5.3. (All new lifters etc etc..) The kit comes with a "CHEVY PERFOMANCE CAM" that requires a tune.

Here are the specs:

Lobe Separation (Deg) 114
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.457
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.466
Computer-Controlled Compatible: Yes
Valve Springs Required: No
Camshaft Gear Attachment: 1-bolt

I do have my own EFI Live V2, and am just looking to purchase a pre-made tune from somebody that turns off the AFM and dials-in the new cam? Can someown direct me to an online tune shop so I don't have to haul the truck to a shop? Daily Driver.

Thanks,
Clint

( I had to approve your post due to the Jegs url, but it's ok, a commonly bought item )

If you look thru your tune you should be able to see how to disable AFM/DOD.

I looked up the numbers last night and i think its a stock 4.8 cam without DOD ramps.

I think there's an influx of AI bots that are doing a better job masquerading as actual users than before, they're still posting half logical things though.
