Just trying to figure this table out. Do I have this Right? The lower the number the more sensitive the knock sensors will be? Just trying to wrap my ape brain around this.

Joe B6226 Knock sensor Frequency
The 'center' frequency for knock sensors.
Any signals picked up by the knock sensor at these frequencies will be processed by the PCM.

Only the following values may be entered into this table:
5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.4, 6.8, 7.3, 7.8, 8.4, 9.1, 9.8, 10.8, 12.1, 13.7, 15.7 and 18.3

Table is set to 5.5

Can anyone clarify this table for me?

Ive never used that table.
B6244 is what i use for knock sensor sensitivity.

B6226:

This table tunes the knock sensor filter for the specified frequency (in KHz). This is the center frequency of the signal that is allowed to pass thru.

If you have an storage oscilliscope with high impedance probe, you can capture the waveform when a knock event occurs... if you try each of the values you will be able to see which signal is the strongest (provided you can duplicate the knock event in the same manner). The stock value should already be tuned from the factory to match the KS and block.

Like nonnieselman said, use B6244 to adjust sensitivity.
