AEM uego randomly shows max lean

trying to tune my cammed 2011 Escalade. Have a AEM Uego wideband. Never notice anything unusual. but when I look at my logs there are a few places where it goes to 655 and its causing my ben maps to be incorrect. I used a 6 wire phone cord with the rj45 end. I cut one end off and wired the AEM serial wire to it and connected it to the v2. Could it be a wiring issue? or somting else?
