Hi !
After been away from the tuning world for 10 years and now I am struggling with tuning my car.
Short background, I have -68 Firebird with a LQ9 engine.
I have long tube headers, LS6 intake with CNC-ported LS6 DBW TB and Bosh "white" injectors (0 280 155 868) injectors. Until now I have used a Comp Cam XR265HR (212/218, 0.558/0.563, 115LSA).
The car has run nice with this for the last 10 years.
During the winter I decide to change the camshaft to a BTR LS1/LS2 N/A Stage 1 (223/230, 0.615/0.607, 115 LSA). After this, the car was not drivable.
I have made same changes so it is possible to drive it

I do not know how to proceed, is it safe to do the CALC.VET tuning under these conditions? Should I do something else before ?

kind regards Magnus

Hi Magnus,
Do one pass of Calc.VET (running a MAF), and look at the results.
You will still have to do idle tuning.

Thanks Joecar.
I will do the Calc.VET and also the idle tuning according to the guide. I will post the results.

Hi joecar,
I read knock at low load (-8 degree/TP 20%) and it seem to run lean. Is it anything I can do to make it run somewhat richer. I am little anxious to run a CALC.VET during these conditions.
For your information, I have measured the fuel rail pressure, changed the intake gaskets and sought for vaccum leaks. The WB is mounted in the middle of the exhaust system (just before the the rear axel).

Hi !
I made a quick test today. My Lambda is around 1.00 or slightly above, even if push the pedal. I got KR. Is it something wrong with the PE. Please look at my scan-file and my tune and give me some advice.
