Hi guys , i have a weird one im trying to sort a l98/6l80e conversion in to a early landrover , i have a feeling the gearbox might have a stuffed tcm, shifts gears ok on normal driving conditions, but under full throttle it hits 4800rpm and wont go any further , holds engine at the rev , gearbox wont shift up or let engine accelerate further, engine can free rev in netural no dramas etc , ive disabled all engine rev limits in that rpm, i ve tryed to command gears with scan tool but it wont hold the commanded gear ethier ? , conversion has no bcm or paddle shift wired up?

you have used an ecu tune from an e38/t42 aka 4l60e.

theres a bunch of parameters that are different between an a4 & a6 in the ecu.

i.e gear ratios, IMS, NSBU switch etc. (none of these are settings currently mapped in efilive/hpt)

use the correct base file & copy your settings over.

However I would NOT copy over the P2544 dtc change, even on a conversion there should be very little you need to turn off error codes for.
