Hey there,

Im a total newb to this. I purchased a EFI live tuner with emailed delete tunes. My truck at this point is 100 % factory. I did the firmware updates, all that jazz, uploaded my emailed delete tune, and loaded it on the EFI Live tool. Went to the truck, Plugged it in, and uploaded the tune. Literally this is all I did at this point. I got an error $0340. I tried again. Seemed like it worked, but it didnt. Truck started, but all kinds of check engine codes, Dash lights are weirded out, back up lights are blinking weird, ect. Im now thinking that I need to do a full factory reset, so I can get back to square one. Where would I get a factory tune for the EFI live, so I can start over? other option is buy a factory ECM, but Im not sure how that works with the BCM. or if at all. I really would like to find a factory tune to start fresh from.

Any Insight?

On the ecm is a sticker is a bunch information, what’s the ecn number on it, it will be CM900xx.xx. The x’s being whatever the rest of the numbers are that’s on the sticker where it says ecn:

There is no sticker on the ECM so im not sure

That makes it more difficult to give the correct calibration
