MEFI Controller

Does anyone know if there is a way to reprogram the MEFI controllers that come with the GM Ramjet systems? I don't even know if these controllers are flashable. My friend has a 502 Ramjet where the rev limiter is set at 6000 RPM. It's making it difficult to make any power, to say the least. Any information is appreciated.

Pretty sure whoever sells them sells the software to tune them too.
Sounds crazy but try a marine performance shop.
