Is it possible on the CMD 10-12 trucks to change shift points depending on tow haul being on/off with efi? I've had multiple tuners tell me it is not possible, but CTT was doing this almost a decade ago at least their UDC/WARP tunes do.

Tuners you were talking to aren’t actually tuners, steer clear of them

You could just download the EFILive software and a tune file from the forum and see for yourself

I have been looking at the files. I'm just not sure what mode is tow haul on/off nothing specifies. I didn't know if I was missing a CAX file possible. To be specific my truck with the current tuning shifts at 2k RPM under light throttle with tow haul on and off. I would like it to be much lower with tow haul off.

They are there with zero need for cax files, all the shift tables are there. EFILive uses the labeling OD Off I think it was for Tow/Haul mode. If the people you were talking to actually knew what they were talking about and were tuners they would know that.

I figured that's what it meant. I just haven't wanted to try it until I got you to reply to a post to be sure. Ok considering an actual tuner was doing it and knew what they were doing would there ever be a scenario you could see where you would keep shift points the same between tow haul on/off? My old tunes from CTT were perfect in that sense. I'm to the point where I might deep dive into my own tuning because it's super difficult to find tunes that I all around like.

Well if a tuner is telling you that shift points can’t be different between normal mode and tow/haul I would hardly qualify that as knowing what he is doing but that’s just me. As far as where to set shift points, it’s purely subjective. If the person doing your tuning is refusing to do what you would like choices are find someone who will or do your own to get it how you’d like
