Seems the camaro 24256025 doesnt match the os and wont flash.

The Holden file does load successfully, however looks like this doesn't work with column tap shifter. It shows as enabled and neither wired switch or CAN will work. When shifting into "M", the indicator stays on "D"

Is it possible to copy the 24256025 over to the 24254909?

Im not sure on that. Ive never tried to use any other OS in a TCM. I use whats in there.

I replaced the transmission, its all stock. Trying to load it with a compatible tune.

At first (It was late so maybe I misunderstood/long day) I tried to to a full flash, but I believe it came back with an error of not compatible. Have been looking for a compatible cal file, and so far no luck.

I've only done some simple tuning for a duramax in the past, and that was a 8+ years ago, so could be user error.

Should I be able to full flash with a different OS?

I would take it to stealership and have them put a update on it.


But i found this.

During a cal flash the operating system number of the controller must match (or be a custom version of) the operating system number of the calibration being flashed, otherwise error $0540 will occur.

Error $0540 is also used to indicate a mismatched operating system during a full-flash. A mismatched operating system is one that may not operate correctly with the controller's built-in, boot block software. The following list shows which T43 operating systems are compatible and can be interchanged during a full-flash.

All OS numbers on the same line are interchangeable, if two OS numbers are on different lines then they cannot be interchanged.

while efilive might not let u do a full flash to 6025 or 6125 they are compatible in the tcm & will work against ecu.

but anyway.
