I feel like I should have found this information already after reading through the user manuals, guides, etc. but alas no such luck.
Can someone explain the result of the DTC Type settings to me please?
Example if I set the DTC Type to:
X: Not Reported - what is the result of this? is it that the OS will essentially bypass this DTC? essentially ignoring it?
A: 1 Trip, Emissions related - I am assuming that if the DTC is triggered in the first trip since car last shut off the MIL will trigger if set to trigger?
B: 2 Trips, Emissions Related - Once again I am assuming that this will set a pending code and if it occurs again on next start up it will set the MIL if it is set to do so
C: Non Emissions - doesn't affect Emissions so more just informational and if set the trigger MIL it will?
Sorry if this a newb question and I should have just looked harder or read more.
