I'm working with a shop to tune my 2020 Chevy Tahoe. I had an AFM failure and rebuilt the motor. Added a 'stage 2' cam. Now the shop I'm working with says they may not be able to tune it. Something about "idle control tune-ability"... Has anyone tuned one of these and know what the shop is talking about?

I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong forum.

Its not supported by EFI Live.
But you can get ready to spend some money. You can send your ECM and TCM off and have them unlocked then then use HPT to tune them.

ECM unlock is $300 if you ship your ECM to them.
Its $700 if you buy a ECM already unlocked.
Then is $200 or $400 to be able to license it.

TCM is $400 to unlock.

So be prepared to spend about $1500 just to be able to tune it.

Can anyone confirm? I'm getting conflicting info on this. I spoke with a shop yesterday and they said "...no big deal, standard tune, $950..."

The 2020 Chevy Tahoe can be tuned with EFI, but with the Stage 2 cam, the ECU needs to be retuned, especially for idle stability.
