Hello, I've only remapped a C5 LS1 Corvette with a supercharger, and I did it with the stock operating system, finding the MAF values very close to the upper limit.
Now I'm going to install a supercharger on my own C5 Corvette and would like to use the 2-bar operating system.
My doubts are what I gain and what I lose by installing this custom operating system.
I'm afraid of losing many anti-pollution features since emissions testing is required annually in my country.

I think I can remapping my Corvette with the stock map, but I don't think it's the right path.

I'd like your feedback on your experiences and whether it's possible to pass the emissions test with this custom operating system.

Thank you very much.

Ive never had a issue using 2 bar COS on any vehicle. Everything still works like normal.

Thanks for your reply. Reading your comment, I've decided to install COS03 in my vehicle to take a look and see what functions it has.
From what I see, the car could run exactly the same if one doesn't deplete the MAF; if not, it would have to be overridden and those high numbers would be used with the new VE table.
Is it possible to temporarily run the engine with COS03 and a 1 bar MAP? This would save me from having to go back to the original operating system while I order a 3 bar MAP.

I have found that if I do not modify the range of the map sensor, I can work with 1bar map sensor.

I'm unaware of any downsides to the 2 bar setup. With it being an option I can't imagine not using it. The COS stuff uses excess memory AFAIK, nothing is given up it's all gravy.
