Hi, so my scanner's arrived and I've hooked up the laptop and virtual dashboard. I've also printed off the 'manual'. Soon I'll run a scan.

I can't find information on how to delete EVAP and the rear lambda's. These aren't installed on my car and throw up error codes. I don't have cats and want to find out why the engine's running rich.

Also, is there any way I can test components, ie, coils, injectors, MAF, MAP? Can I add these items to a scan, ie 8 injectors, 8 coils?

Thank you for any help.

Post your Tune file and a log if you have it. Not sure what you are working with.
On my 2011 Camaro I found a Purge Table in the calibration, Then everything else in Engine Diagnostics.

I know you can log MAF, MAP.. Most likely you can log injector pulse witdth as a whole not sure if it breaks it out individually.
I haven't used EFI on my Camaro very much

If you're judging your rich condition on exhaust smell you are not getting rid of that with the cats deleted

Thank you. I'll have to look into this some more. It doesn't help having never used a laptop before lol. As for being rich, the plugs are sooted up and should be nicely brown instead of black.

Okay, quite the learning curve ahead.
It will be quite frustrating at times but when it clicks and comes togather its very rewarding.

In a nut shell you will want to setup your scanner to log AFR error based on your o2 sensor fuel trims and adjust your MAF and Volumetric efficiency tables.

Indeed :-) Thanks for the input. In the 90'ies I had to learn how to map a Motec so I'm sure I'll get on board with this once I've got started.

Could someone look at this short scan I did yesterday please? Engine starts fine but after a short while becomes really lumpy and doesn't want to respond to part throttle openings. Eventually it'll stall and this is why it can be a pita in slow moving traffic.

I'm trying to find/cure the problem. The codes I get just refer to EVAP and rear lambdas which aren't fitted. I hope the file opens properly. Thank you. :-)
