Optimizing ECU Table for Twin-Scroll Turbo

I’m new to using the FlashScan V3 to tune a 4-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbo. When adjusting timing and boost, I’ve noticed the ECU response is a bit slow and sometimes “knock retard” kicks in early even though AFR looks fine. Has anyone tried optimizing timing and boost maps specifically for a twin-scroll turbo using FlashScan V3? I’m looking for any tips or steps to improve throttle response and prevent knock without running overly rich fuel.

Which Engine and ECU are you working with?

It’s a 2.0L 4-cylinder with the stock ECU from a 2020 model, running a twin-scroll turbo. I’m using FlashScan V3 and trying to tweak timing and boost for better response without early knock.
