I am having issues with cax8 files not loading into the calibration. Calibration 32180100 cax files are named the same. They will load into the same calibration if its for a 68rfe but not for a manual calibration. Anyone have a stock 32180100 manual calibration i could try? Or any suggestions? Thank you.

When you open your calibration file, scroll the "Calibration Summary" down. Look at the one called "Default User Defined Calibration Name".
Your CAX8 file should match that name, and be placed in that folder.

I did end up figuring that out about an hour later. Then hit the hay. For some reason the name was changed to 32180101. But thank you. I am still learning EFI live. Also, there is too much going on in these cm2350s, It is just an engine. Since this is now a cax file thread, I have another question. Is there a way to tell if a cax file for one calibration can be used for another. Without software like winols, or are all cme cax files good for all cme's?

Having seen the internal working of the Cummins controllers, there is no cross over between operating systems.
A CAX file for 32.18.01.00 will only align with the correct addresses for calibrations using the 32.18.01.00 operating system.
There may coincidentally be a few sections that didn't change between calibration revisions, but I've never seen it 100% the same.
