Known Issues:
Issue #1: When attempting to upgrade FlashScan/AutoCal V3 firmware using the EFILive Control Panel [F6: Firmware] tab page, you may see error $0094 "Firmware and CPU are not compatible".
Workaround: Use the [Check Firmware] button in the main EFILive V8 Scan and Tune window to update the firmware. Or use EFILive Explorer [F12: Firmware] tab page to manually select and update/program the firmware.

Still getting the $0094 when updating firmware in the control panel. I just sent a support ticket.

I am getting problem when updating firmware in V8. I do update, then when I try to write mod, it gives error $0548 and autocal just looses boot block and ECU is dead now!!

The firmware update on the V3s seems to depend on what firmware it currently has. New ones I have in the boxes are 3.00.140 and wont update in the control panel, but will in Explorer. Older firmware seems to update just fine in Control Panel.

Hey Paul, any chance you can loosen up the T43 full flash restrictions without requiring the pro-tuner feature?

I've been doing a bunch of 6L80 remote support jobs with users doing standalone & link ecu integration, so i get them to buy efilive cables.

I've found that any late model 2010+TCM will take any late tune file without any issues, i.e late vf will take a 2011- 24256125 and vis-a-vis go to 24264923/24267577 etc.

I've tested this myself with 1 of my own test mule VZ Crewman, I can run any late e38/t43 combo providing i have the relevant Can data configured for the tune files, but this request is mostly to allow guys who are getting 2nd hand gearbox's to downgrade or upgrade the trans cals with one's i mapped additional features for.

You can send tune files to your customers that will bypass the OS compatibility matrix restrictions by setting this option.
Just set the Target OS value to the OS that is currently in the TCM and then you can full-flash the file over the top of that Target OS.
You need to have the Pro Tuning option on your own device when you set the Target OS value.
