Good morning I'm working on a 2016 Silverado 2500 LTZ OS 12660477 it has a huge list of modifications I'm using EFI Live for my tuning my problem is I don't have a CAX file for OS 12660477 im trying to disable some turbo codes. I set the VGT actuator to disable but was getting circuit codes. I then had to basically trick the sensors so they didn't set errors. Is there a way to disable the VGT codes in EFI Live? I also wanted to use the SOTF settings for fuel temp but didn't realize it has to be enabled so I took the EGR cooler temp and wired into that for SOTF and used the MM3 EGR temp limiter table. If you could give me some assistance I would gladly pay for your time.
The truck has a wagler alternate firing order cam, 100 over injectors, Exergy stroked CP3 conversion, built motor, west fab pipes all around, S372 non VGT turbo, CAT 12 suncoast Allison 1000 w triple disc, exhaust mods and more.
I have my base file with no dash messages for exhaust changes but would like to disable the turbo codes. I also have HPT but don't have a XDF file or anything to do what I already did in EFI Live. From your experience is HPT or EFI Live better for the LML platform? My email is [email protected] If you could give me some assistance I would greatly appreciate it. One thing I am not liking about EFI Live is the lack of DTC support HPT has the total DTC list.
When I got this truck the previous company that tuned it had the truck smoking like a pig at idle and under load. I have since got the fueling dialed in and truck is running near perfect just need some help it went into reduced power mode a few times but I played with the turbo settings and I think I fixed it. I usually work on 01-10 trucks but do these also but never this modified.
