Hey all newbie here and I have a couple questions. I have an 05 lly that I got a transmission supposedly built with supposed bullet torque converter. Now ever since they did that it has shifted hard both up and down in every gear like whiplash hard they said they didn't know what's wrong and jerked me around till out of warranty and then refused to do anything about it. I only took it on a couple trips and never acted right so I parked it to where it has been sitting for a long time. Now I have gotten communication codes along with lots of others so I'm looking into efi live to have it tuned but also hopefully fix my issues cause I miss driving it. So what I'm wondering is can these rewrite programming and help tell me what's wrong so I can use my truck again.also what all is really needed I have heard you need this and that and then others saying you don't need much at all. Sorry for the newb question I just want it going again cause it was a good truck until the weak tranny went out on me. It also has some small bought and homemade upgrades and was running on an old edge cs tuner that went to level 4. Thanks ahead of time and sorry for the long drawn out rant
