Why does GM.DYNCYLAIR max out at 511.99? What does the PCM do with respect to the relevant tables once you surpass this value (or the max value listed in the table for that matter)?

The value probably stops at 511 cause that is the max airflow catered for by the MAF. If a table goes out of bounds it usually uses the last value (highest or lowest) in the table.

you mean dynair not dyncylair, right? dynair is airFLOW, dyncylair is airMASS.

You are correct. I logged both PIDs. DYNCYLAIR did not max out.

Something else that I just noticed.........Curiously, DYNCYLAIR was missing from the first log file that I recorded yesterday. It shows up in the other log files though. I did not alter the PID selection between logs. When I look at the PID selection for that log it is not selected?? All l did between logs was save and start recording again while on the fly. Not sure how that could happen.

Make sure the scan tool shows the correct vin/os/trans at the bottom of the window.
