I have noticed that once in a while over the right bump, I will get KR. No big deal but does anyone else have this happen??

Man, you'd have to be hitting some seerious bumps! Any possibility of something hiting the block "emulating" a knock? Other psooibility is some loose connection or bad ground somewhere being jostled affecting timing and KR?

How many degrees for how long??

Sounds like something came loose. As Emarkay said, I would check the grounds, or for any loose/banging objects (i.e. exhuast plumbing hitting the K member)

I check, nothing is loose, The only thing I can think of is the poly mouts are stiff and transmitting knock, or the exhaust might hit something on the frame. Usually over tracks or a few really bumpy roads. Never payed attention to the amount of knock,

not necessairly rough roads, i just have a stiff suspension and my car has some completely random knock that doesn't get cured with 100oct or lowered timing... it just makes harder to differenciate real knock from the 'it's 21st century and i still got a live axle' knocks ;)

I have noticed crazy KR in my truck. Its not eliminated by higher octane or lower timing either. I have had it as low as 2* of timing and still see 3-4* being pulled at times. It will happen more during light to mid throttle acceleration than WOT. Sometime i can go WOT and see none at all, other times 3-4* being pulled....very wierd. I can relate to your issues.

I have similar issues - do back-to-back runs on the Quarter, no knock whatsoever on one, the next one comes up with a single KR decaying all the way through 1st and 3rd, nothing on 2nd and 4th ... or highway cruising, slight TP increase will cause a single KR for 3-4sec or so ...

Your issue is a gremlin under your intake manifold smacking the knock sensor with a mini-hammer. ;)
