I am about to tune a car with a Thunder Racing CheaTR cam, just curious ahead of time just what it will be like.

1. Typical idle Kpa and rpm.
2. Timing advance at WOT - is this a high timing advance cam.

General experiences. It has been selected as a cam with a difference to try out in the car its been purchased for.

Has a wide split and is designed to be very nice at idle.
I think you will find its a breeze to tune. Very exhaust biased as its kind of designed for stock exhaust vehicles in california etc.
Looks like similar spec to the ls7 style cams.

It has huge lift and we suspect it will be a very interesting cam. Might deliver a good compromize in a city car.

Yep TR site shows it with loads of power when used with good heads.
As you say should be a nice daily driver.
