Registration questions

In setting up my EFI Live Flashscan for the first time, it asks for vehicle info. In the VIN Part, under "Platform", I selected "Chevrolet Light Trucks" (even though I have a GMC) the Vin comes up "1GC********". My vin starts as "1GT*******". Would the PIDs be correct if I use the "1GC******" vin?

I've never bothered with that. When you first connect to the vehicle with the scanner, hit Shift+F2, and it will validate all of your PIDs regardless of the vehicle type selected.
