I have to tune a a 408 that was built to run a lot of nitrous. They have 2 wet systems they are spraying. They want to spray a 150 shot on launch, then add a 250 shot as soon as possible and spray both the length of the track. Here is my plan, tell me how this sounds. I plan on tuning the motor, then tuning it with the 150 shot pulling 2 deg of timing and dialing in the a/f, then with the 250 shot only pulling 4 deg of timing and dial in the a/f. Once thats all dialed in then pull 2 more deg and spray the full 400 shot and the a/f should be straight. That should be around 20 deg of timing total and Im going to shoot for an a/f of 11.0-11.5. Is 8 deg enough for a 400 shot?

sounds good, though the 20 deg total timing sounds a little dangerous, besides with nitrous you make more power with less timing, around the 15 deg mark would be better imo.

I don't know how true that is, on a 300 shot, i've picked up quite a bit goin from 16 degrees timing to 20. I'll be trying a 400 shot as soon as I get my fogger, and am planning on starting at 18 degrees and maybe try goin back up to 20.
