Tried reading my PCM which was programmed by Street and Performance in Arkansas and efilive could not recognise the PCM. What happens if I just try and read anyways? I believe they use LS1 Edit.

If it doesn't recognize the OS # then I expect it just won't read it at all. Is it not recognized or could it be that they locked the PCM?

I went ahead and tried to read the PCM after this warning:
The PCM's hardware number: 0 ($ 0), is not recognised by EFILive.
This may occur for the following reasons:
-The PCM does not have a valid operating system or calibration.
-This type of PCM has not been encountered by EFILive before.
-This PCM is not compatible with EFILive.

Continue only if you are certain that the connected PCM is supported by EFILive.

I went ahead and continued and it started to read the PCM. I noticed that the calibration # was N/A, but I see all information from the PCM. I saved the tun file to my laptop and re-opened it and there was a calibration number in placed of the N/A. Do you think it's safe to go ahead and tune?

I'd be concerned if it didn't have an OS #

I've send a PM to Paul and Ross about this. They should be getting back to you shortly.

I'd be leary of trying a full flash, but see no problem with trying to do a calibration only flash.

Excuse me as I'm new to this. There is a OS # 12212156 , but the Calibration # below that came up as N/A and after restarting the tuning tool it came up with a Calibration #. The BCC # two lines below that is question marks.

If you send the *.tun file to me at paul@efilive.com I will take a look at it to see what is "wrong" with it.

Regards
Paul

It sounds to me like this PCM had it vitals wiped courtesy of TIS at some stage. If you send the file to Paul then we can verify it is O.K

Cheers,
Ross

12212156 is a valid OS so at least it's looking better for you...
