Let me say that I really appreciate the fine tools that Moates.net and Efilive have to offer.
This weekend we rushed to finish a car that had to be at an important race across the country by Monday.
Friday
The engine finally was in Friday night.
Saturday
After working a 20 hour day we fired it around 3am. From 3:30 to 6am we drove this monster all around downtown Mt. Airy NC. Andy Griffen Show fans know this as Mayberry. Well Barney must have been taking the morning off because we tore the streets up without incident.
Today (Sunday) we took the car to the track. We didn't finish till late and got there 30 minutes before the gates closed. The first run it dragged the back bumper. The second and third runs he left easy with it so that he could capture plenty of data for me to tune with. Rolling out of the hole so as to capture the best data the car ran a 6.36 @ 108mph NA.
Tonight (Sunday night)
The car is on its way to Englishtown NJ for an important race and hopefully a spot in a popular national magazine. The race is tomorrow starting at 8am.
The point of this thread is this. I was given an almost impossible deadline. Without EFIlive software and the flexibility of the Roadrunner there is not a doubt in my mind that I would not have been able to pull this off. Thanks
Some specs (don't want to spill any secrets...I'll disclose more after a grudge race next Saturday.. sorry we have to whip up on some mustang boys  )
Solid roller
Th350 trans w/ 3500 stall
No nitrous (next year, thanks OS5)
SB2 intake
Progressive linkage 1500 CFM TB
stock GM heads casting 005 (I'll disclose with next Saturday ) Worked
CID, ?? Could be a lot bigger.
1 7/8's headers
12 bolt with 4.10 gears
60 LBS Motron injectors
Aeromotive fuel system
