Efi live tune???

ho do i transfer a stock downloaded tune to my car??? just flash it to the pcm??? will it mess up my vin???my current tune that is in my car in un reuseable because it says it has incorrect checksums and efi live can not allow it to be reflashed into a pcm....how do i fix that ???

Are you able to read the tune file in the PCM, If so Save it before over-writing it with any thing. You may need to click on the Show Calibration Detail button in the tune tool and check to see if the operating systems is the same as the tune file you were trying to load. Does the stock tune file have the same OS?

i can read the current tune out of my car...but it says that it wont let me re flash it.....the stock tune has same operating system is but the check sum is differant....

If the OS #'s are the same you should be able to open both tunes (open one for alternate comparison). Then you can copy the segments from your current tune to the stock one - retaining your tables etc. Then flash it into the PCM.

Sounds good in theory anyway :)
