I don't know if this has been asked here yet but, I was wondering if we'd be able to change any of the Active Fuel Management controls in the PCM with EFILive?

I've drove a vehicle with AFM and with just the slightest touch of the gas pedal it would kick outta V4 mode and back into V8 mode even when it seemed to me there was no reason to go to V8 mode. Seems it could work a little better with some tweaking. :D

So will we have access to the controls with EFILive?

Thanks

Thats awesome!!! Its going to be really nice for the DOD guys to be able to change the amount of TPS before if kicks out of DOD mode and into regular V8 mode.

Can DOD be enabled on cars that didn't ship with it enabled (i.e VE Commodore for example)? Or, is there other "stuff" required - sensors etc?

DOD requires mechanical hardware (switching lifters which are enabled/disabled by oil pressure, and engine block to support these) and electrical hardware (solenoids to gate the oil pressure, and PCM to support these).

Just purchase the FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune product. There is a single parameter you cam change to disable it :-)
