Ok here is what I see happening.

I select multiple cells, so far happening in any of the tables, when you highlight multiple cells and as in the pic below the last cell is what I want all of them to be - in this example 63, it appears to take the 63 but then never changes the rest of the cells.

Now in reverse, if I select all the cells the other direction and what I am looking for is not in the last cell selected, in the pics 62 was the last cell and 63 is what I want to make them it takes.

Cell overwritting is 63 and I want all the selected cells to be 63

hit enter and nothing happened

works - the cell I am over writting was 62 and putting 63 in:

All cells took the change to 63

There was a known issue (now fixed) where that would happen.
What version are you using?

Meanwhile, you can type 63 in the Adjust box in the toolbar and click the "#" button to set all cells' values.

yah, figured the workarounds out, just letting you know.

using 7.1.9 build 204

I "found" the problem. It's when you type the same value into the last selected cell, it is ignored/discarded because it would cause "no change" to that cell. It prevents an undo/redo save point from being created when no real change to the table data occurs.

EFILive is a little brain dead in that respect. It should "notice" that multiple cells are selected and make the change anyway.

Another workaround is, you could type in a different value, press enter, then type the value that you want and press enter. Not ideal, but it works that way.
