Wondering what type of ECM you have in your GenIV vehicle?
Lift the hood and take a look...
EFILive currently supports reading / programming & locking of the all the GenIV ECM's.
E40 was the first GenIV ECM to be used.
Some specs - 2 x MC683xx CPU's, 1Mb Burst Flash memory.
E38 I think was first used on the Z06 and now on many other 2006+ vehicles.
Some specs - 1 x MPC561 CPU, 1 x MC9S12 CPU, 2Mb Burst Flash memory.
E67 is the new ECM used on many 2007+ GenIV vehicles.
Some specs - 1 x MPC565 CPU, 1 x MC9S12 CPU, 2Mb Burst Flash memory.
Cheers,
Ross
