What amp do I need to run my bench top harness? some converters are as little as .5 amp. THANKS

I don't know what the PCM draws, but I picked up a 15amp for $40-$50 a few years ago

Do you have an amp meter? I wouldn't expect the PCM alone to draw anywhere near .5Amps@12V ... haven't tried it, though ... my guess is somewhere in the 50-100mA ballpark ...

i've bench flashed using a 12v 3amp power supply, no problems:beer:

You need 12V with at least 1Amp. Make sure it is a regulated power supply.

Check radio shack. They have a regulated 3A with cigarette lighter plug as well a terminal plugs for under 50.

Is the PCM actually using that much power??? Heck, I'm running a complete quartermile timing system with 18 light barriers etc. on 22V/.580A ... (minus the 220V lights)
