Hello, I am very new here and to LS1 tunning too so I am not familar with a lot of in/outs of the PCM. I just purchesed the V1 tool and I am hoping to program out the VATS on the PCM. The engine is now in a kit car so no BCM is avialable. Is there a tutorial on how to do this or can someone post a quick howto? Supposedly the Kit factory programed it out but a lot of us with earlier years 1997/1998 are having issues. So I am thinking the VATS disable they use does not work on our year.
I read the PDF manual and it says to set the calibration {G1201} to disable. Is this valid on 1997 vettes?

Edit--
I guess while I am at. My PCM came from an automatic tranny and I now use a maunual. Can I download the 97 (manual) stock tune and flash the PCM to get ride of the automatic tranny without issue? I am assuming the computer would be the same?

Just checked a 97 Corvette (manual) calibration and the G1201 is definitely there. I believe that s"should" be all that is required for you :)

Welcome to the forum BTW!
