There I was, all fat, dumb, and happy. I was just cruisin down the main stream of life with no cares, my V1 at my side and my 98 Z28 in the garage.

Then BAM, out of the blue it struck. I think it is called NCS and it’s totally uncontrollable by medication or meetings. The only cure for this dreaded affliction is to appease it. Of course, having a supportive wife during this family crisis has helped a lot.

So, I went down and ordered a C6 to combat the NCS (New Car Syndrome) and I'm starting to feel better now. The V2 upgrade is also on order.

Those will need to come after the warranty expires. My current ride did that mod in the 37th month of my ownership. I'll need to do appearance mods or mods that won't kill the warranty.

The AMA has recently added a new disorder to the list of Plagues and Scourges. The new disorder NeoCartimus Syndromus (NCS) has been placed as one of the most feared and contagious maladies to be identified to date. The article goes on to state that no known cure for this malady has been found and the only symptomatic relief is to purchase a new car within 30 days of noticing the symptoms.

Well, under normal intervals it would be 28 days, but Christmas is involved and the plant shuts down for 2 weeks so the "guess" is at the end of January.
