View Full Version : Dashboard Display gone and I cant get it back

Some how I have shut off the dashboard and can not get it to come back.

I have tried to re load the default imperial .vdb but to no avail.

I have also uninstalled and re installed the software. Still there must be enough info left after uninstall to keep some default setting that I have inadvertantly set.

Feeling a little perplexed. Any help would be appreciated.

Alex,

Are you sure you haven't just undocked the dash tab and it's somewhere beneath the EFILive main window...?

Could try this sequence:
1. uninstall EFILive,
2. delete EFILive from the registry (run regedit, search for EFILive, and delete the found keys, close the registry),
3. reinstall EFILive.

Take care when you mess inside the registry!

You can also extract the EFILive install image (or CD) and you'll see that there are standard file/folder structure where you'll probably be able to copy them from as well.

They are under the Personal tree :)

Hey Joe,

You and I are a good "tag team". Maybe we should try and broker some world peace deal :D

There is an option under Properties/Display - middle box Tab Pages - tick box prevents undocking.

Hello,

Thanks for all your help.

NAH's idea worked and now have my dashboard back!

Thanks again
