Welcome to the forum Viper TT.

I haven't heard an official date yet, but I believe the boys are working their tails off on it. I'll make them aware of this post.

Thanks for the welcome and passing on the info.

The car is 2 days old and I'm already itching for something to do! :D

A local friend has EFI Live and offered use of it. If I understand this correctly, I am able to buy another VIN License for $99.

I found that HPTuners does support the new PCM's, but I've not experienced it.

Correct, a VIN license is $99. IMO, I'd hold off for Live before introducing my vehicle to HPT.

I believe the target is Q1 2007, not sure how different the 07 might be to the 06.

I think they are working on the E38 now. Then I imagine E67 will be close on its heals.

Can you define which cars use the E38 and which use the E67?

A search did not yield that information.

Perry

Interesting that a search didn't find it but surfing yielded the appropriate sticky....thanks

I think the E38 is the box in my 07 LS2 Vette. I'm going to guess one more step and say the E67 is for the Z06?

The E38 is in the ZO6 as well as all 07' vettes.

Ah, then I see a huge need for this E38 thingie.

Thanks,

Can you guys scan the LS7 with the current v2?
I think Paul? said use the E40 ECM and that some of the pids work.

Can anyone confirm. I have some guys who want to log a few dyno runs.

how about the 07 ls2 tb ss? I am soo tired of the Torque management and stabiltrack and it dose'nt even have 500 miles on it yet. it needs to be turned on and let loose. I did smack the snot out of a super bee though!!

why not just read the TCM t42 trans from it and delete the TM if you want to? Im sure that is supported. Tm would be in the trans cal.

I cant get past the BL with efi live v2 at all. and the truck has the 70e trans so it is dead. I even went as far as JTAGing the bus and force a dump but I have yet to see code like this. ?

Version 7.4 release recently introduced read support for the E38/E67 PCM which is used in these vehicles. Flash support will be out pretty soon - calibrations etc are being created now.

If you didn't see already the links are in this thread: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=4890

There is update 2 for this released also. There is one reported to do with a timing issue flashing. The current fix (until we release a fix) is to turn the ignition on, wait for 10-15 seconds before attempting the flash operation.
