...other .pids (like MAP kPa) while using the bi-di controls? I thought I read somewhere that you can still see what's going on when you're playing with the controls. Can you?

Do you mean by:
Connect the scan tool
Select PID's
Open the control pannel
Start logging in the back ground

That's usually what I do, then switch to a chart view so I can see the effects.

The key is to NOT start recording before opening the Control Panel. When using the Bi-Di Control the frame rate drops from 10fps to 5fps, to allow the extra bandwidth required on the bus for the Bi-Di operation.

If you have already started logging at 10fps then the Bi-Di Controls can't work.
