does anyone know if service number 9354896 ecm will work with custom operating system 01250003.i flashed a 12202088 operating system tune into it.its in a 2000 truck had a 09381344 operating system i then checked the other stuff that was differant and put them back in.running the auto tune goes way lean i am guessing you cant up date that ecm with the newer 2001 flash to make it work my ve is over 120 still lean so some things up i have the tune and log if some one wants to look at it. thanks

I'd expect that you could update that to the 2002 year OS and then run the matching EFILive Custom OS. The trucks seems to use the 12212156 OS as the 2002 F-Body vehicles. The COS for that OS is 0202000x.

Just for clarity:

1) Does the truck run on 12212156 OS?
2) Does it run on 12202088 OS?
3) The stock OS was 09381344?

The leanness is tune related and can be resolved more than likely.

I know on our local cars the earlier ones ran different injectors, so going from a 2000 O.S to a 2002 caused problems with fueling, the injector tables did need to be rescaled.

Plus some trucks have a PE delay too.

The stock OS was 09381344 i think thats the problem the battery light flashing kind of tells me some things up,i would think some one has flashed a custom operating system in a 2000 4*4 and made it work, the pe delay was off on the first operating system i tryed was on for 2 secs on this one but with custom operating system it looks at afr map so i wouldnt think that would make a differance.i just need some one who has done a custom operating system on a 2000 5.3 4*4 to talk to i guess

I have a 2000 4x4 that had OS # 9381344 that I reflashed with 2001 COS3 # 1270003. I then reflashed the 12208322 4x4 file into the pcm, read it back as my master file and then made my changes from there. Mine was a 5.3L that I had put a 6.0L in and it required several changes. I have it setup in OLSD and it works very well. You should select the right OS for your application if it is a Camaro with Man trans. I just followed the tutorials, lurked here and there for info and applied it. I Hope this helps you.

figures thats one that i didnt try did you try 12202088 or 12212156 they didnt work for me.i used custom 02020003 for 12202088 and custom 01250003 for 12212156.loaded the custom file in then the stock operating system did a read and set that up.reflashed that in and it ran fine at low speeds battery light was on on both of them. didnt respond to fuel changes. i think if i used your operating system it should work though it did for you are you running a na motor if so i could try your flash if you send it to me i will load my ve tables, timing tables, change the injector tables and cylinder valume and try it. are you running a 4l60 trans also (not sure if it makes a differance) i did a ve recalibrtion then the mass air was off so did the mas air recalibraion logging 02 and mas air feq % air that was kool makes me want to use sd even more lol worked get tuning it like that but keep being lean after i added like 3 times the 4th logg run shows was to rich so i wind up going back about 2 flash guess when you have small err % in ve and mas air it all adds up give me one small % sd trying to tune with 2 things controling fuel will run you in circles. thanks for the info i new some one probly did a custom operating system on a older operating system with up grading

What setup are you running exactly? A 2000 4x4 auto I asssume? Mods? Are you trying to run a Camaro OS in a 4x4 truck? If so,no wonder your are having problems. If it is a 2000 4x4 4l60e, I will send you my 2001 COS3 1270003 based on 12208322 if you PM me your email address. I used this one because it was the only one I had at the time. All I did was follow the tutorial to upgrade to a COS and it worked great.

Has anyone built a custom OS for the 12216125 OS yet? You'll have to find an equivalent OS (perhaps of a different year) that will run on your PCM,
and copy all your old tables over to it (and resolve any tables that are extra, missing, transposed).
