View Full Version : Help Needed - Stalling when take the foot off

Any assistance MUCH appreciated.

I suspect I have two problems, in Park if I give the throttle a decent blip the revs will drop low enough to stall. The other problem is in gear when driving, same thing. A bit of throttle, have to back off quickly and the thing drops to a stall.

Have increased the desired air flow a bit, seemed to help a little.

Have increased the low KPH values in B4317 Throttle Follower Decay Rate (having tried lowering them), and this also seemed to help a bit. However, the problem is far from gone.

Have also tried loading up the advance at lower revs to no avail.

I have just moved to COS3 from COS1/2, where I wasn't experiencing this. I have a LS1, stroked to 383, ported throttle body, mafless, CAI, 3.73s and about 3500 stall (in case any of this is relevant).

Any assistance would be great.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum SthAusSS.

When you upgraded from COS1 to COS3, what did you do for B3647?

Is this a problem when the car is hot or cold or both?

Both hot and cold - we've been having reasonably warm weatgher so IATs have been over 30 degrees C (85F?)
