Quick license related question

So I'm completely new to EFIlife and pretty much GM PCMs in general, but I ordered V1 commercial scan and tune and paid $549 for it, and the box it came in had "Scan" checked on the side, with a flashscan cable and software in it. The little blue sheet it came with say "scanner only".

I used that license to get it up and going and connected it to the car and the scan functions seem to work fine, but when I go into the tuning tool it keeps saying it's in demo mode and won't let me read the PCM or change any data.

I emailed the vender I bought it from and asked, but haven't heard back yet, and I just want to know if I'm doing something wrong, or I got the wrong software.

I'd say you definitely have the Scan Only package. To resolve this is very simple, just a upgrade license emailed to you. Your vendor will contact us for this.
