EFI Vers 5 Upgrade???

Sorry to post this here but I need some advice. I have an opportunity to buy EFI Live Vers. 5 used. Are the upgrades free? What licensing is required?

Not sure if it is a good deal or not as I haven't figured out the licensing and upgrade requirements.

Just got more information from the seller, he also has a license key for Ver 6 Prefessional. Is this transferable?

Not to FlashScan V2, still have to upgrade again (and pay more as its a new hardware version, not software which are always free).

But, it depends on what you want to scan/tune.

The key thing for you to know is if the license you are looking to buy has been used already to upgrade to FlashScan V1 or FlashScan V2. If it has then you have no upgrade path yourself as the buyer as the previous buyer has already exercised that right.
