Connect Tech2 to tuned controllers?

Is it perfectly ok to connect the factory GM scan and programming tool (Tech 2) to vehicles that are tuned with EFIlive? The reason I ask is because it's a major problem with some programmers like the Bully Dog for instance, which wipes itself out with the Tech2. GM is constantly coming out with re-flashes and recalls, I understand that if the PCM calibration is upgraded to the latest GM version, it would most likely have to be re-tuned, but would the Tech 2 even recognize the altered PCM? (although the OS# stays the same) Does this make sense? Are there any other potential problems? Thanks.

Are you asking if the Tech II can see the PCM/ECM/TCM has been tuned? Pretty sure they cant, all they can do is write over it again.

With the exception of the Custom OS's which have different OS #'s that a TechII wouldn't recognise.
