A number of interactive tutorials have been produced and are now available from the EFILive Documentation/Tutorials (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=130&Itemid=134) page.

These take you through some of the very common tasks that we perform regularly with our tools. It will also help answer a number of the support related questions.

The list will continue to be expanded.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Chad (Black02SS) who has put these together for us!

Connect Flashscan to vehicle and PC> Power up Flashscan (key on)>
Open EFILive Tune V7.5> Read PCM (Ctrl+PgUp) Green arrow> Save as (Ctrl+T).

Can someone edit this page to point to a "EFILive Downloads" URL that works?

Hi Rich, try now.

That did it! Thanks! I finally got my car back into running condition (after 2.5 years) and had Mike Carnahan tune it for me. So I need to figure out this EFILive stuff now to do the fine tuning. And I need all the tutorial help I can get..... :)

OK, I'm trying to work through these tutorials, but hitting snags.

I just tried to do the example presented in the "How to Create a Map", video tutorial, and hit a brick wall. I was at the point where I was to right click on the VE table and Copy with Labels, which I did, but just got an error message saying "TEfiStringGrid.GetData(c): -1 out of range: 0..18."

So what did I do wrong?

Rich, do you have V7 build 211...?

Can you post a screenshot of that...

I think that I may have figured it out. I believe the values in the tune file table and the map table were different.

And yes, I am using the latest version numbers that were available for download. I believe I did the upgrade a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks.

In the autoVE tutorials it sayes to do Wideband o2s anolog I'm set up serial do I have to change?No... do this instead: modify the procedure to use your serial wideband.

Also, you could use the pids from the Calc.VET thread (meaning that you would use the pid WO2BEN instead of what the AutoVE tutorial says)

( yes, the tutorial needs to be updated and modernized )
